Sizzle Academy Basketball

 Coach T has definitely been a GREAT addition to our team! His knowledge of the game and positive attitude has helped our littles grow tremendously. He has joined our team full force and has brought so much to the team! Building the foundation for our student athletes and donating his time for these athletes. 

Coach T, a valley native brings over 20 years of experience and passion to our basketball program. He attended Marcos de Niza High School and played on various AAU teams in the valley.  He became a coach to help teach our student athletes the fundamentals of basketball and to enhance their skills off the court. 

We are so grateful to have him be part of our Sizzle Academy Team! His daughter is on the 1st grade team and is such a joy to watch play! The amount of enthusiasm, effort and dedication is something we are so fortunate to have.

 Coach Tevin Newell is a dedicated basketball coach with a rich background in the sport. With two years of experience at Sizzle Academy, he has honed his skills in developing young athletes and instilling a passion for the game. Before joining Sizzle Academy, Coach Tevin excelled as a player, competing at both the high school and college levels in basketball and football. 

His true passion lies in working with children, where he focuses on building a solid foundation and enhancing their skills. Coach Tevin is committed to making a positive impact on today's youth, fostering both their athletic abilities and personal growth. 

Coach Juston Bowman was born and raised in the small coastal town of Seaside, Oregon. He was a two sport Captain and Varsity Athlete of His Teams for both Basketball and Baseball. Receiving a full ride to Eastern Oregon University he completed college and post college he joined the United States Army. Stationed at Fort Bragg in the 82nd Airborne Division in Fayetteville, North Carolina and was Deployed to Iraq three times during His 5 years of active service. Upon getting out, Juston was an E-5 Sergeant, Army Medic trained and received the fourth highest ranking award that a service member can receive in the U.S. military, The Bronze Star Award.  

Coach Juston has two children that currently play on the 6thgrade and 5th grade Sizzle Basketball teams. We are super lucky to have Coach Juston part of our team.
